Privacy policy

Last updated: 17 August 2026

This policy explains, in normal language, what Train with Dario does with personal data when you visit the site or apply for coaching.

The short version: we don't track you. There are no analytics, advertising pixels or tracking cookies. We only receive personal information when you choose to send the coaching form.

Who is responsible?

Train with Dario, run by Dario Mulder in the Netherlands, is responsible for the personal data handled through this website. For privacy questions, the easiest way to reach Dario is through the contact form on the site.

What do we collect?

When you send the form, we receive your name, email address, chosen coaching direction and anything you add about your current training, target race or goal, target time, training background and message. Please don't send medical records or other highly sensitive information through the form. If you only browse the site, we don't create a profile about you.

Why do we use it?

We use your details to read your application, reply and see whether coaching could be a good fit. The legal basis is taking steps at your request before a possible coaching agreement. For a general question, we rely on our legitimate interest in answering you. We don't add you to a mailing list or use your information for unrelated marketing.

Who receives the information?

The form is delivered through Web3Forms and then arrives by email. Web3Forms and the email and hosting providers may process limited data as service providers. Web3Forms says its servers are in the US-East region, so a submission may be processed outside the European Economic Area. We don't sell your information or share it with advertisers.

How long do we keep it?

If coaching doesn't start, we delete the enquiry when we no longer need it and no later than 12 months after our last contact. If coaching does start, we keep relevant messages for as long as the coaching relationship and legal or administrative obligations require. Service providers may keep short-lived technical logs under their own retention rules.

How do we keep it safe?

We use reputable providers, HTTPS and access controls, and we only keep information that is useful for handling your request. No online system is completely risk-free, but we take reasonable care with the information you send.

Cookies and tracking

This site currently uses no analytics, advertising pixels or tracking cookies, so there is no cookie banner. Basic technical connection data may appear briefly in hosting or security logs, but we don't use it to follow you around or build a marketing profile. External links such as Instagram, LinkedIn, WhatsApp and HybridMafia.co have their own privacy rules once you leave this site.

Your privacy rights

You can ask to see, correct or delete your personal data, restrict its use, object to certain uses, or receive a copy where the GDPR provides that right. Send your request through the contact form; we may ask for enough information to confirm it is really you. You can also lodge a complaint with the Dutch Data Protection Authority.

Changes or questions

If the site starts using new tools, cookies or data uses, we'll update this page and ask for consent where the law requires it. The date at the top shows the latest version. If anything is unclear, just send a message through the contact form.
